A Performance Audit of Utah State Parks report to the Legislature has recommended that the Utah Field House be closed. The report also recommends closing 4 other parks, reducing staffing, reducing law enforcement officers, consolidating management and privatizing some park operations. The report can be found at http://le.utah.gov/audit/11_03rpt.pdf . Now is the time to contact our local Legislators and tell them that closing the Field House is an unacceptable recommendation.
